Any church organization is as strong as the members who participate in heart and soul to its well being. Our founding ladies knew very well that through their faith and devotion to St. Rita and the members thereafter that the Sodality would continue the mission of keeping the lifeline of St Rita alive through works of charity. Celebrating the Feast of St Rita is a beautiful tribute in prayer and song on her special day and attending her monthly 4:00pm Mass on Saturday’s at Holy Rosary Shrine is heartwarming. It was through my grandmother’s example of love and fervent prayer to St Rita that impressed me so much that I became a member. I can’t emphasize the example of good family practices enough for God and Country. The beautiful roses are but a symbol of love that whither and die, but most important is to keep the faith. We remember our seven beloved members who have gone to their eternal rest this past year. Congratulations to the three new members that were inducted into the Sodality. ~Anita Sapienza
