The Blessing of Throats is a popular devotion done on the Feast Day of St. Blaise February 3rd, or the weekend close to the Feast Day. This year we will offer only the General Form of the blessing, as opposed to the individual blessing using the traditional crossed candles.
This Wednesday, February 2nd, we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. This is the traditional day for the blessing of candles. If you bring candles with you, they will be blessed at the beginning of the 12:05pm Mass
