When the Rosary Began to Glow
In the early 1980s, something unusual began happening in the city of San Nicolás, Argentina. In several homes, ordinary Rosaries were seen glowing with a mysterious light, with no apparent natural explanation. One of these Rosaries belonged to Gladys Quiroga de Motta, a wife and mother who had drifted away from regular prayer. Shaken by what she witnessed, she felt called to return to the Rosary, beginning a deep personal conversion marked by daily prayer and a renewed faith.
From that conversion flowed something greater. As Gladys persevered in prayer, she began to experience apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who identified herself as Our Lady of the Rosary of San Nicolás and called people to prayer, repentance, and trust in God. After years of careful study, the local bishop officially recognized the apparitions as worthy of belief. What began with glowing Rosaries in ordinary homes became a reminder that God often uses simple signs to awaken faith, draw souls back to prayer, and lead them closer to Christ through His Mother.
