At the Masses on July 25th and 26th we will have a guest missionary preacher form the Diocese of Kimbakonam in India. His name is Fr. Donbosco Selvaraj. This Diocese is very large and is facing great challenges including extreme poverty, the need for new churches, schools, hospitals and housing. They need help with educating seminarians, religious and lay ministers. Besides all of this, they live under constant suspicion and persecution from Hindu extremists.

The Catholic Church in Kimbakkonam relies heavily on financial support from their mission appeals, such as Fr. Donbosco will be doing this week at Holy Rosary Shrine. There will be a second collection for them at all the Masses. Please be generous in supporting this most worthy cause of helping our brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing such difficulties and lack so many of the basic necessities of life that we take for granted.
