Shrine Fair Needs

Raffle: Did you know that the Annual Shrine Fair, held on Labor Day weekend, is our Shrine’s largest fundraiser? With the help of many outside donors and generous Shrine goers, we are able to continue to provide wonderful raffle prizes and gift items every year. This year marks the 100th anniversary of our annual feast and tradition. As the raffle table coordinator, I am kindly asking for your support by a donation of either a gift card of any denomination, scratch tickets or liquor. We will also accept any new, unused gift items. Your donations will ensure that we have another successful year. You may drop off your raffle donation at the Shrine Center Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm, c/o Linda Bolis. Thank you in advance for your support.

Children’s Corner: We are in need of Shrine Fair items for our Children’s Corner; particularly individually wrapped candies such as Tootsie Pops and lollipops, Tootsie Rolls, Hershey bars, Three Musketeers, Milky Way, Mounds, Almond Joy, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats, etc. Also, for the children, donations of the Little Mermaid, Jurassic World, Marvel Superheroes, Matchbox cars, Legos, puzzles, children’s books, dolls, coloring books, sewing kits, board games, and other toys would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Anita Sapienza.

Volunteers: We are in need of volunteers this Summer on Monday evenings from July 17th to August 21st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Shrine Center to help us collect, sort through, and creatively display the merchandise and donations given to us. Please be generous with your time. Thank you to all who have donated to the Fair thus far and will continue to do so. Our special thanks to Wayne & Connie Pickles for Chairing this event again this year.
